The shop is back in business and first look photos have been released! Barbershop: The Next Cut is set to come out April 2016 but of course, who can wait that long?

EW, People, and ESSENCE have provided fans and supports with the first look photos for the long awaited movie which welcomes Nicki Minaj to the shop. The film will still have the notable stars ;like Ice Cube, Cedric the Entertainer, Eve but will also welcome some new faces to the barbershop nestled in the Southside of Chicago.

Director Malcolm D. Lee shared, “This ensemble came to work every day, and they left it all on the floor. In some of these scenes, you as an actor might have one or two lines, but they all stuck around.” He continues with,”With Cube and Cedric, being the pillars of the film, they’re also the pillars of the people on set. They set the tone.”
