While Monster 2, Beast Mode 2 and Ape Sh!t have all been rumoured for a long while now, we’re never certain about what is going to come from Future and his camp next. The only true promise is that material is being recorded all the time and we can only hope that every so often, we get to hear it in the form of a body of work.

Yesterday morning, Purple Reign was released a few hours after initially scheduled, but better late than never. Sitting at 13 songs long with no features and production credits going to Metro Boomin, Zaytoven and Southside amongst others, it’s a Future mixtape through and through.

As we like to do with most big projects, we decided to compile a list of the 5 songs which stood out to us on our First Listen, and why. Check them out on the following pages and let us know if you agree.
