Dizzy Wright Confirms Funk Volume Is Over With
by Staff Editor
It’s a sad day for the Hopsin, Dizzy Wright, Jarren Benton and Funk Volume fans. Dizzy just took to Twitter to go on a brief, somber rant about how Funk Volume is officially over with.
Last week, there was some back-and-forth on social media between lead artist Hopsin and the label’s co-founder Damien Ritter, alluding to the fact that changes needed to be made or that Funk Volume was going to be finished. Nothing was confirmed at that moment, but unfortunately, we could all see this coming.
Dizzy says he doesn’t know when exactly things went wrong, but now that the foundation is broken, there’s no logical repair other then the crew parting ways. Certainly not the news any of us wanted to hear today.
Regardless, Dizzy, Hopsin, Jarren and everyone else affiliated with Funk Volume haven’t gone anywhere, so expect new music sooner than later. Dizzy will also be joining Logic on his upcoming tour starting next month, so be sure to catch him live. See dates here.
Read Dizzy’s tweets below and throw on your favorite Funk Volume jam asap.
I'm not sure when everything got so bad on our end but I wanna apologize to the fans… I did everything in my power to keep Fv together.
