If anyone gets the chance to speak with Charisse Mills you will notice that the woman, who has one of the more beautiful voices that will come across, is both proud of her artistry and being able to craft her own lane. The creator of Pop’era, a genre that is a hybrid of pop and opera, is where Charisse calls home and can flex her impressive vocal range.

Mills career was infused from her Caribbean roots at young age in Trinidad and Tobago and as it grew also did her value of integrity, a word which happens to double as the name of a collaboration with Ne-Yo. In support of her belief and the single, Charisse has developed an integrity campaign, established through her website that allows for fans to interact with her and provide a video of what integrity means to them. The compilation of the responses will drop the same day as the video for her current single “Champagne,” a rising track with French Montana.

To get details on the launch of Charisse Mills’ career, the aforementioned single with Montana and the Pop’era genre, check out our latest Civil Scope. – Shawn Grant
