I want to thank each and everyone for all the support and love! Surgery went well..God is good! Next step recovery! Cancer has been removed from Boosie kidney… Thanks to all Boosie family and friends and all my real Boosie fans for all the prayers from #badazzmusicsyndicate… I am a #cancersurvivor

Last week the hip-hop community was saddened by the news Boosie Badazz was diagnosed with kidney cancer. The cancer is resulting in the need for surgery tomorrow.

The Louisiana representative took to Instagram and shared his surgery will occur tomorrow and was sure to thank all of those who have extended prayers his way.

“To all my family, fans n supporters I really appreciate the Love n concern that’s been giving to me since I was diagnosed with kidney cancer,” Boosie said in his statement.
