Jeezy Talks University of Missouri, ‘Church In These Streets,’ & More With ESPN’s ‘First Take’

With his upcoming album Church In These Streets dropping this Friday, November 13th, Jeezy is making sure he shows love to those who’ve support him along the way.

The hip-hop veteran paid a visit to ESPN’s First Take, where he spoke about the issues involving the University of Missouri, his upcoming album, among other topics.

During the 11-minute interview, Jeezy shared his thoughts about the University of Missouri by saying they are the perfect example of leadership, as the football team and the school joined forces to stand up and have their voices be heard. He says, “To me that was a big move, I’m quite sure their parents and the school is very proud of them.”

The hip-hop artist also goes into his upcoming project, Church In These Streets and his music by stating the meaning of what he advocates in his lyrics. Jeezy mentions that his lyrics and words are changing others lives, which is why he does music.
