The anticipation surrounding Spike Lee’s upcoming Chiraq movie has been building for months, and now we’re finally getting a proper preview.

The first official trailer for the high-in-demand film was released today, and it’s a bit different than many have been expecting.

Following the story that involves men partaking in gang violence in Chicago’s neighborhoods, the film stars Samuel L. Jackson, Nick Cannon, and Teyonah Paris.

The movie is based on the Greek Comedy, Lysistrata, so we’re sure to get some laughs out of the bolder Spike Lee movie.
