With Mac Miller’s new GO:OD AM album in stores already, and a freshly new released video for “Brand Name,” Miller is definitely delivering amazing content for fans.
To add along to his album promotion, the “Days” vocalist recently sat down for a quick conversation with GENIUS, where he explains the meaning behind his record “100 Grandkids.”
During the chat with GENIUS, the Pittsburgh lyricist says the concept of the song is about procreation. The rapper notes “Well, it’s about procreation, and hoping to leave a legacy and continuing on. And then the second half is a little more selfish. So, the first half you’re thinking about your future. And the second half you’re thinking about yourself.”
Miller, also goes into the three-minute conversation addressing the P. Diddy line “Bad Boys For Life.”
Watch Mac Miller’s chat with GENIUS about “100 Grandkids” in the video above and make sure to purchase GO:OD AM via iTunes as well.
