Earlier today, we revealed part 1 of our Civil Interview with Memphis’ own Yo Gotti. We discussed his upcoming mixtape The Return, why his long-awaited album Art Of Hustle has been delayed so much, his inspiration behind his new single “Rihanna” and much more. Now, we’re back with part 2.

From owning his own restaurant in his home city of Memphis, to dabbling in real estate, the Cocaine Muzik rapper comes from a family of hustlers, which reflects in every move he makes.  “I ain’t going to lie. At times it’s hard because sometimes I barely get sleep. I ain’t just dealing with typical rapper problems,” Gotti says. He’s much more than a rapper, and always will be.

Despite having a lot on his plate, Gotti hasn’t closed his eyes to what’s been going on around the country as far as the #BlackLivesMatter movement and the recent police brutality. “Police are going to be the police, but people look at them to protect and secure certain situations. Don’t nobody look for them to be killers,” he states.

Peep part 2 of our conversation with Yo Gotti on the following pages, and if you missed it, read part 1 here.
