Justin Bieber Earns His First Number 1 Record With ‘What Do You Mean?’

Justin Bieber’s accomplished a lot in his career, but his latest success comes at an important time in his life. The Biebs has earned his first ever number 1 record on the Billboard charts with his returning single “What Do You Mean?”
For those who don’t know (though I don’t know how you couldn’t), Justin took a much needed hiatus from music for the last year or so to deal with the many off-the-mic issues he was having. His return was led by a refreshing Comedy Central Roast and music wise, “What Do You Mean?” is his first single (and release) since his comeback, making this accomplishment that much more special.
This week, the hit single officially made its way to the Billboard charts and debuted at the top spot, making Bieber only the 23rd artist ever to debut a single at the top spot in the last 57 years since the charts have been around. Bieber is also the youngest male star to ever debut at the top spot at 21 years old.
Bieber took to Instagram to celebrate this amazing accomplishment, and also released an acoustic version of the hit single. See his celebration below and check out the acoustic version of “What Do You Mean?” above.
