The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards was already a must see show but it just got bigger with the honoring of Kanye West with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award.

To announce the honor for Yeezus, MTV released clip which shares pieces of each of Kanye’s videos from the past showing what made him a great choice for the show’s highest honor.

Kanye West isn’t the first to win the award; he will follow his favorite artist Beyonce, who won last year as well as Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Madonna and Justin Timberlake. Be sure to check out the 2015 VMAs this Sunday to catch Kanye accept his latest award.
