Dr. Dre To Donate Album Royalties From Upcoming Album To Fund Arts Center In Compton

Dr. Dre just announced that he will be donating all of the royalties he earns from Compton: The Soundtrack.
The rapper-producer’s long-awaited new album, will help fund a new arts and entertainment facility in Compton. He broke the news today on Beats 1 with DJ Zane Lowe’s show.
Dre says, “I feel it’s the right thing to do and I hope everybody appreciates the work I put into this album.”
The west coast veteran also revealed that he will be working with Compton’s Mayor, Aja Brown for the project.
Dr. Dre’s album will premiere tonight on Apple Music for three hours beginning at 6 p.m PST and 9 p.m EST.
But, we’re hype to finally hear the LP officially when it comes out tomorrow Friday, August 7th.
