This year’s MTV Video Music Awards are approaching faster than we thought, and now that we’ve hit the month of August, the performer announcements are lining up.

MTV announced earlier today that The Weeknd is one of the first names revealed that will be hitting the VMA stage on August 30th at 9 PM EST during the live show.

The “Earned It” singer is set to sing his new hit single “Can’t Feel My Face” for the song’s first ever televised performance, and we know just about everyone is going to sing along.

With Miley Cyrus on board as host, and now The Weeknd on the lineup, we know there tons more amazing surprises up MTV’s sleeve.
