The Atlanta rap scene has been on fire for the last few years and it seems as if we get a new rising star every other week. Skooly is one of the several names currently making noise in the A, but he’s far from a newcomer.

Being a vital part of the Rich Kidz’ success dating back to 2009, Skooly’s been plotting and scheming on how to finally obtain the credit that he’s deserved. He recently signed with 2 Chainz’s label T.R.U. (The Real University) and dropped his latest project Blacc Jon Gotti, which was perceived quite well. See for yourself here, if you’re behind.

Our very own Karen Civil and Civil TV caught up with Skooly for an exclusive interview where he shows us the ins and outs of the A and talks about how he fits in with the scene, his recent project Blacc Jon Gotti, how his relationship with Chainz came about, what he’s learned thus far in his career, what to expect from here on out and much more.

Watch our latest edition of Welcome To My Neighborhood with Atlanta’s own Skooly and catch all of our recent episodes here.
