50 Cent Grantland Interview

If 50 Cent had some financial issues before it isn’t getting any better. Already ordered to pay $5 million to Lastonia Leviston for leaking a sex tape online, a jury has stated 50 Cent should pay an additional $2 million in punitive damages.

The New York Daily News reports the lawyer for Leviston requested an additional $15 million but ended up with an addition $2 million. The amount that was settled upon by the jury was $700,000 more than what the lawyers for the G-Unit leader suggested as a reasonable amount.

“We had to compromise,” jury foreman Tom Evans states. “Some wanted (to award) more, some wanted less.”

The recent details from 50 Cent stating that he isn’t as wealthy as it appears didn’t have any affect in court, with one jury stating “if anything he has it hidden” in reference to his money.

“I’ve been served justice by the courts and vindicated by God,” Leviston stated after the award was given.
