In 2007 Drake stepped away from acting and pursued music. He dropped his mixtape Comeback Season which got the attention of hip-hop heads and started his buzz to stardom. The mixtape’s hit single “Replacement Girl”, featuring Trey Songz, appeared on BET in 2007 making Drizzy the first unsigned Canadian artist to have a video featured on BET.
