Empire’s VIP guest list for season 2 keeps growing!

E! News revealed Kelly Rowland will appear on the hit FOX show this fall. The 34-year-old R&B singer will play Lucious Lyon’s mother in flashback scenes.

Last season, insight into Terrance Howard’s character’s life were seen through myriad flashbacks, from starting his music career in an apartment to his relationship with his young son Jamal.

The second season of Empire will debut on September 23 and will feature appearances by Chris Rock, Lenny Kravitz, Alicia Keys, among many more.
