8. 1st verse of “Son of a Gun”
“Son of a Gun” was originally a song by Janet Jackson, but was remade by Missy with a touch of both R&B and Hip-Hop. The song was also known for it’s subtitle (I Betcha Think This Song Is About You) and became the highlight on Missy Elliott’s album in 2001. This is definitely a verse any female would dedicate to someone who’s done them wrong.
Favorite line: “How much you worth?/I think negative, done.”
