Troy Ave’s name has been in the media a lot lately after the New York emcee dropped his debut album Major Without A Deal.

Today, the controversial rapper stops by Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club for an interview with DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God and Angela Yee. During the sit down, they spoke on a variety of things including the album and it’s sales. The numbers were considerably low and Troy took a lot of flack for that, however he’s still preaching the same notion that it’s not a flop due to the fact that he’s 100% independent and recoups 95% of the album sales. Makes sense.

For the rest of his interview, Troy spoke on his issues with Manolo Rose and says he’s going to slap him when he sees him, addresses allegations that his “d-boy” persona is false, speaks on people saying he’s arrogant and needs to humble himself and much more.
