Big Sean is such a caring individual and really shows support to the younger generation. The Detroit rapper chose a unique way to give back to his community, by donating the funds to build a brand new recording studio in Cass Technical High School –the school he attended in Detroit, MI.

Big Sean built the new studio in collaboration with Adidas, and named it “Sean Anderson Studio of Infinite Possibilities.” He recently traveled to the location for the launch of the studio and took MTV along for an exclusive tour.

The rapper shared: “Education is changing, man, a lot of these kids, they’re out of the traditional way of learning. We try and misdiagnose them with things like ADD or this and that, and sometimes it may be the case, sometimes it’s not. Sometimes, they’re addicted to their phones because that’s how they’re learning now. Things are changing. This is a step forward in that direction.”

The Dark Shy Paradise artist hopes this means the kids will not only have a chance to explore new musical horizons, but that it’ll build a foundation for creativity and following their passions that will last for years to come. “They can learn so much, from engineering, to recording, to just creating,” he said. “The possibilities are endless.”
