by Staff Editor
Talk about unexpected news. It was announced today that three lucky female YouTuber’s have been signed to Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment. L.A.-based teen sisters Chloe Bailey, 17, and Halle Bailey, 15 caught the attention of Beyoncé’s manager with their cover of “Pretty Hurts”. The cover which has millions of views, scored the sisters a $1 million contract for up to six albums over the next five years. Also, former X Factor 2012 contestant Sophie Beem, 14 was offered a $560,000 contract.
This just demonstrates the opportunities platforms like YouTube can present to people. No wonder so many channels are created each day, as well as a huge variety of content! They now even use other platforms such as Instagram to grow their base, and utilize websites like Task Ant to help them with hashtags that can get the attention of their intended audience. However, not everyone is as lucky as these two sisters to get recognized for their talent. YouTube is a very popular platform and it takes hard work, determination, and great content to get noticed. Fortunately, there’s also the option to buy subscribers, as seen Here, to give your channel a boost. This is something that many YouTubers will undoubtedly be using to stand out from the crowd.
Congrats to the Bailey sisters! I’m sure we’ll be hearing from them soon.
