Kendrick Lamar blesses Mass Appeal’s cover, issue #56 -hitting stands soon. Photographer Chris Buck created the cover image, paying homage to an iconic portrait of Mick Jagger in his prime. The photo seemed appropriate to the fact that “he’s one of a handful of rappers ever to reach rock star status without dulling his blade even slightly.”

In the visuals after the photo shoot took place, they asked K.Dot to break down the enigmatic imagery seen on the album cover of To Pimp A Butterfly.
