The crew over at Ebro in the Morning are having quite a run today with an interview from Common and now Method Man. The newly turned 44-year-old, stopped by for a nearly hour chat touching on his new film with Adam Sandler, Wu-Tang, family life and more.

Set to his theaters this Friday, Mef plans to unleash a golden stream on the first 10 people who arrive to see The Cobbler.

“It’s basically about a cobbler who is a shoemaker – Adam plays a shoemaker  who kind’ve hates his life and my character comes in to get his soles fixed,” he said. “He uses some old machine and something crazy happens to the shoes and he becomes that person which I think is amazing because who wouldn’t want to walk in someone else’s shoes.”

Though the Staten Island native is putting his focus on the big screen this year, he has not forgot about the music. Instead, he is setting himself up to be comfortable so he isn’t an old school rapper doing shows because he has too.

In regards to the latest drama with Wu-Tang, Method Man goes in-depth of the situation stating that he does like Wu-producer Civalringz and puts blame on him – not RZA – for the upcoming album not being released for another 88 years.

“I don’t like anything that seems like a gimmick associated with Wu-Tang,” he explains.
