“Run / An Island” feat. ScHoolboy Q

After ScHoolboy Q makes his appearance known by opening the track, Ne-Yo slides in describing a woman that is so sexy and dominant that a man can’t help but fold for her. Knowing that she has the juice, Ne-Yo advises everybody to run for their lives, but Q returns with bravado showing that he isn’t scared of a challenge on one of the album’s more uptempo selections.

We are then introduced to “An Island,” which takes us past the unfavorable women to a choice that is perfect. She’s the tranquil water that doesn’t crash as a “thot wave.”
