He insisted that it had more online hits than the comedian himself. Shortly after, Barbra Bowmen – who accused Cosby of rape in 2006 from an encounter she had with him in 1986 – penned an op-ed in the Washington Post titled “Bill Cosby raped me. Why did it take 30 years for people to believe my story?”

Fast forward to December 2014, 21 women have publicly come out and accused Cosby of rape and in the midst of the turmoil TV Land has pulled re-runs of the famous sitcom, several New York theaters have canceled Cosby’s headline shows, The Navy has revoked his Honorary Title, Spelman College has severed it’s ties with Cosby despite his multi-million dollar donations – to name just a few unfortunate series of events.

However, famous entertainers like Whoopi Goldberg, Jill Scott, Raven Symone, Keisha-Knight Pulliam and most recently Phylicia Rashad have come to Cosby’s defense despite the allegations. Rashad has landed herself with the hashtag #ByePhylicia in regards to her support for her T.V. beau.

Cosby, who is 77, has thanked those publicly who have defended him via Twitter and through the media; those of whom also include his wife Camille Cosby. How do you feel about the rape allegations against Cosby?
