So Barbz, Nicki is number three on our list, but she provided the effort for anyone that would get number one in any other year. Nicki has been on the cover of every major magazine, from Rolling Stone to Complex, while remaining a topic of conversation from January to November without an album or tape in the street. Minaj flexed over “Lookin Ass Nigga” and parlayed her way into “Chi Raq” with Lil Herb before unleashing the monster which was “Anaconda.” That video, well, who didn’t like it? Male or female you were pulled into what may be video of the year. Then The Pinkprint came and was one of hip-hop’s more complete listens cementing Nicki as one of the year’s heavyweights.
Nigga you are a bitch. How do you even include trash rappers such as iggy and young thug on this list, not to mention the order in which young put them in. Foh you wack ass bitch

Who dropped harder verses and tracks than Wayne this year???? No one. Moment, Believe Me, Krazy, Gotti, Errbody remix, the track with him Drake and Nicki…..the boy has been on fire. It’s just cool to hate on Wayne now and Sean has been killing it and Kendrick hasn’t done a lot but the anticipation is building for his new album. If Drake is number 2 then Kendrick should AT LEAST be on the list!

It’s crazy how we let niggas hate on legends then people wander why the state of hip hop is what it is. Wayne, Kanye, Jay, Em, Nas, and 3 Stacks should be off limits for any shade by anybody that CLAIMS to represent hip hop whether you like them or not. They are the GOATS of our generation.

J.cole’s album was decent but it wasn’t god tier. I appreciate Logic’s album more in all honestly. It’ll definitely get more plays by me. Drake’s feature game with no album at all damn near had him running the year. This was without an album….Plus there’s Royce Da 5’9’s album that dropped with Dj. Premier……. And worst of all they out freaking Iggy on here & Young Thug smdh.
