10. Bobby Shmurda

It is a real shame  that Bobby Shmurda is currently battling a litany of charges (20+ guns, drug trafficking, etc.) after seeing his sudden rise to fame this year. When “Hot N**ga” dropped, the entire hip-hop community stopped, Shmoney danced and grew to love Bobby Shmurda, in that order. Then, Bobby and his GS9 crew signed to Epic Records and released the follow up single “Bobby Bitch,” in addition to several features and concert apperarances. And unfortunately, just a few weeks ago, Bobby and 13 of the GS9 members were arrested to sour a pretty great breakout year. Let’s hope this gets settled quickly and peacefully so Bobby can continue building the career that he most certainly started this year.
