Switching to the music, when can we expect a full project?

Nyemiah Supreme: I’m hoping maybe the end of January or February. I want to take it in a direction towards me, how I feel, how I grow, how I feel about certain topics so I’m really digging deep on this project.

What are some early challenges you faced at the onset of your career?

Nyemiah Supreme: Definitely the girl challenge. No one believing that we can rap on our own or write our own rhymes so it frustrates me even now because I feel like I still have to constantly prove myself to where when I go up to radio stations and do interviews I have to freestyle. When guys come up there, these one hit wonders song guys they don’t ever have to freestyle. The only way I will be able to do the interview is if I freestyle. If I don’t I won’t get the interview.

How has your relationship with Timbaland moved you as an artist?

Nyemiah Supreme: Tim really just helped me with putting together music. When I got in and worked with him to see how he puts together music and pieces, he doesn’t even automatically attack it with lyrics. It’s just like melody and sounds and so I started doing that in my own sessions by myself just kind of making the skeleton of the song before I just start throwing everything on it.

Do you enjoy the producing aspect as much as entering the booth?

Nyemiah Supreme: I like the production, it’s such a huge part of music and I think so much of the music today doesn’t have production in it. The music that Timbaland and Missy made is so well produced and it’s a huge sound it’s not just verses on the beat. When I work with the producers I work with, we’re in there working for like two weeks and we’re locked in.

Even now Tim is working with all of these great artist could you see yourself tapping into that roster and doing some collabs?

Nyemiah Supreme: Definitely, if they have the slot open. I know one of the things with being a female artist, I want to work with female artist on their songs. I think we have so much in common about what we want to say and struggles that just us working together where we don’t even both have to be on the track but I’ll bring our thoughts together.

Is there anything else we should look out for?

Nyemiah Supreme: I guess keep your ears and eyes open. I have some new ventures coming. I’m teaming with new people and as always just me next level and a lot of I don’t give a fucks. More hair and more music. I love it.
