According to reports from Rolling Stone, Jeremih and members of his entourage spend Friday night (Dec. 12) in custody after being arrested.
Jeremih reportedly snuck his way on board a flight leaving the Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey after the final boarding call. The Chicago-singer had a performance that night in Fresno, CA. for the B95 Fresno Holiday Jam alongside Wiz Khalifa, E-40, T-Pain and more.
Conflicting reports are coming from a variety of sources claiming what order the events took place, and who did what, but it appears that someone pried open the door to the plane where Jeremih then snuck on-board.
According to a statement made by a member of the Port Authority, someone actually pried the door open and held it open for Jeremih to get on board successfully before it took personnel minutes to realize what was going on.
Jeremih and Adam Woods, a musician and reported member of his entourage, were arrested and detained on misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and obstruction of the administration of law. Dontate Cunningham, Jeremih’s reported “bouncer,” was charged with defiant trespass after allegedly being the person that pried the door to the jet open.
