Boosie Badazz has been a staple in Southern hip-hop for as long as we can remember. He broke onto the scene in the early 2000s and has occupied our attention ever since. Unfortunately for Boosie, the Baton Rouge spitter has been dealt with legal trouble ever since his first major arrest in 2008 for marijuana, in which his sentence was doubled after violating probation. Then, in 2010, Boosie was arrested for first degree murder (he was later found not guilty) and intent to distribute, and was sentenced to 8 years in prison. Since he was found not guilty of the murder, his attorneys negotiated an earlier release than 8 years and wallah, on March 5th, 2014, Boosie Badazz was a free man. Thank heavens.
