“Broken Hearted Girl”
Teyana slid a little invigoration, outside of “Maybe,” into her album by including Fabolous on “Broken Hearted Girl.” When Loso slides his Brooklyn bravado on an R&B track it is never a miss, which record continues without a blemish here. The Queen of G.O.O.D. Music holds up her end as well delivering a performance in which she is ready to bypass all of the formalities of dating and getting right to the fun part. No to mention the impressive ode to Teena Marie’s “Portuguese Love” that is sprinkled in at the end.
