Stackboy Twaun

What made you start producing?

Stackboy Twaun: Man, honestly Zaytoven. He inspired me to become great within music.

What sound are you looking for when you are trying to distinguish your beats?

Stackboy Twaun: It’s not a specific sound I’m going for, I make music for the people to feel and move to. In my opinion,  when you look to make beats sound a certain way you create a box for yourself. So I think it’s best to just  go where the music takes you.

You have a production list that runs from Migos to Yo Gotti to Rich Homie to Young Thug.  What does it mean for you to have such an impressive resume at this point in your career?

Stackboy Twaun: It’s a blessing; I owe it all to God. I cook up the music, distribute, and He does the rest.

What artists do you have on your wish list to work with?

Stackboy Twaun: Whoever’s willing to work, but to be more direct, I’d like to get in with Gucci Mane, Boosie, Kevin Gates,  Future, Wayne, T.I.P.

Migos “Fight Night” has been huge. Nominated for a BET Hip-Hop Award and more, what has that song done for you?

Stackboy Twaun: It has definitely assisted me in taking my career to the next level; from meeting new people, to being able to assist others financially in life. I definitely have to thank the Migos, Coach K, and my management for believing in the record from the beginning.
