Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar (August, 2013)

Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse will forever be remembered when talking about best diss tracks in hip-hop history, whether that’s the media’s fault or not. And while Drake was certainly not the only rapper K. Dot called out, he was one of the many who had some choice words for the TDE leader. Aubrey never released an official response to “Control”, but took plenty of chances to subliminally get back at Kendrick. K. Dot might have responded during the 2013 TDE BET Cypher for the BET Hip-Hop Awards, where he had some more subliminal, choice words for what we think was Drake, but again nothing confirmed. Drake has recently praised Kendrick in various ways and vice versa from Kendrick to Drake, so I guess this beef is in the past. For now, at least.
