8. The sale of the Atlanta Hawks

After Donald Sterling we didn’t think we would see another case of a franchise dealing with a racist owner so fast, but we did. This resulted in the Atlanta Hawks placing a for sale sign outside of their arena. So far former star Chris Webber and a group of buyers have shown interest, but will someone from hip-hop jump into the ring for the team in one of hip-hop’s hubs?
