You went on tour this past Fall with Keyshia Cole. Do you have any memorable stories from going on the road with her?
Adrian: It’s so dope because she’s from East Oakland as well. One of my best memories with her is actually a show we did in the Bay, where she brought me out to do “Say Yes” together. I think that she didn’t know where I was going to go or do, and I kind of just used it as my chance to “get my feels on.” It was kind of funny to see her reaction to that because it was just as new to us as it was to the audience.

Did she give you any advice?
Adrian: She was just really letting me know not to be afraid to speak my mind, especially when working with those around us. You have to know what you want. You have to know what you’re about because no one else is going to.

What’s coming up for you in the rest of 2014?
Adrian: 2014 is just much music as possible. We got 7 Days Of Weak, and we got Weak After Next that’s out. Hopefully more shows, and maybe another tour. Who knows? I really am trying to box down this album that we’re aiming for a release for 2015. I’m super excited about that! I just dropped a new video off the tape for “I Get It,” which also features Casey Veggies. That was really dope. Other than that, just more videos, shows, and you kind of just have to follow and stay tuned for what’s going on.
