How do you feel about your growth as being a mother, wife, and business woman over the course of your reality show’s seasons?
Lala: I think in life it’s about evolving. You never want to stay the same; you want to evolve. That’s what I’m trying to do. In my being a wife and a mom, and in my career, being that I’m on the show Power on Starz network, it’s all about continuing to evolve and that’s what I do.

How do you feel about this upcoming basketball season for your husband and the Knicks?

Lala: I’m excited about it! My husband is super excited. There’s a new regime with the Knicks, so we will definitely see what happens. But I’m excited. There’s nothing like going to the games and having fun. I’m definitely looking forward to it.

Is there anything you can tell us about the upcoming season of Power?

Lala: All I can tell you is that it’s going to get really crazy! I’m so looking forward to it.

Who are you looking forward to dropping an album in the last half of 2014?

Lala: I love them all! I love Nicki, I love Wayne, I love Kendrick. Great people, great artists. I know Nas’ documentary is about to come out and I am literally the number one Nas fan, so I am SO excited about that! It’s going to be a great time for music.

What do you have coming up for the rest of 2014, aside from your role on the second season of Power?

Lala: I’m writing my second book, The Power Playbook, which is the next book after The Love Playbook. That’s going to be out in a few months.
