If you think that Ray and Tierra are going to bring the bulk of the drama to this season of Love and Hip-Hop I think you should “Wait a Minute,” pun intended, and look toward Soulja Boy and his bae Nia Riley.

When you take a look at it Mr. Boy has been present on two reality shows recently, of course Love and Hip Hop, but the other, Sisterhood of Hip-Hop, carries a little piece of his romantic history in female rapper Diamond. Not sure of the time proximity in the filming of both, but Nia makes it clear that she wants Soulja to herself, there goes potential problem number one.

Aside from his past romances, Soulja Boy states in the first episode that he is about living his young life. The components of that life includes bottles, clubs, living what is often seen as the traditional rapper lifestyle. But what is attracted to that lifestyle? The women who linger in the club looking to be next to Soulja Girl on the second season. With Nia potentially at home with her baby, not by Soulja, how do you think she is going to feel about him roaming the streets and commanding night club attention?

And lastly, the aforementioned baby. Although Nia’s child isn’t Soulja Boy’s there is some responsibility to be had if he lives in a household with the two right? At 23, Soulja is clearly looking to continue his early twenties turn up. Good luck with that mixture. All it takes is one flirty phone call or encounter outside of their relationship to send Nia and Soulja Boy into a downward spiral.
