Congrats on the humungous success with “No Flex Zone!” We actually debated with our readers that you guys probably have the smash hit of the summer. What do you guys think of its popularity?

Swae Lee: Oh man, it’s crazy! Just to see where the love is coming from, whether it’s overseas or right next door, we love it.

I don’t think there’s any setting I haven’t heard this song. It makes people go H.A.M. at almost every party, barbecue, strip club, you name it. Even Kim Kardashian referenced it on Instagram! What was the moment when you realized how big this song was getting?

Slim Jimmy: When all the remixes dropped with Nicki Minaj, Pusha T, and everyone.

Swae Lee: Even Justin Timberlake put it on his picture. That was crazy! When Wiz put the video out with Juicy J too!

What was your reaction when you first heard Nicki Minaj and Pusha T’s verse on the song? 

Swae Lee: I was just blown away!

Slim Jimmy: Yea, it was like a moment in history.

Swae Lee: Ace Hood really killed it too though. He went in.

How did you guys come up with that crazy, unique flow that’s on the track?

Swae Lee: We were just being creative. When it comes to something different, we want to come at the song with a different approach.

Think it’ll catch on like the popular Migos flow?

Swae Lee: Nah, that song is hard, but we’re going to try and stay away from that route.
