Trinidad James Dropped From Def Jam
by Staff Editor
Trinidad James, the rapper that took the industry by storm with “All Gold Everything,” has reportedly been released by Def Jam Recordings. James quickly signed with Def Jam after the single took the world by storm back in 2012 but his release appears to come even quicker.

James never released his debut album while signed but released two mixtapes, Don’t Be S.A.F.E and 10 PC Mild. We’ll have to wait and see if James decides to go the indie route or if he tries and get another deal elsewhere.
The Atlanta rapper has also been the point of some controversy lately by expressing his frustrations with the industry and speaking on subjects like the south running NYC hip-hop.
Perhaps those frustrations were felt by both sides?
We’ll have more on this story as it becomes available.
