August has a lot to be thankful for. Starting off as the opening act on 2 Chainz’s 2 Good to be T.R.U. tour, who knew the name of the tour would explain how his life is right now? The tour helped establish him as an artist. The defining moment in his budding career, however, was his appearance at this year’s BET Awards. Taking home two of his three nominations and sharing the stage with R&B veterans Trey Songz and Chris Brown, you would be a fool to not include August Alsina in the R&B conversation. With his debut Testimony still making buzz and his new remix with Nicki Minaj flooding social media, it appears the world wants to continue hearing him testify.
