What Did You Think Of Drake’s Opening Monologue At The 2014 ESPYs?
by Staff Editor
As we’ve reported already, tonight is the 2014 ESPYs and Drake has taken on the host role. Starting off with an arsenal of jokes aimed at just about everybody, Drake’s opening monologue is certainly one to remember. He joked about Donald Sterling, LeBron coming back to Cleveland, his good buddy Johnny Manziel, Richard Sherman and the Seattle Seahawks, his own bandwagon tactics, and a whole lot of other victims.
He even told Iggy Azalea and Nick Young, “Iggy Azalea & Swaggy P, I love you but you’re like a poor man’s Jay & Bey.” Harsh, Drizzy!
Going strong for about 10 minutes, Drake proved tonight why he’s much more than a rapper — he’s an entertainer. In tonight’s ESPYs, we’ve already seen a hilarious skit with Blake Griffin and Chris Brown deemed “Blake vs. Drake“, the epic “Double Lance Cam” with Lance Stephenson and Paul George, and don’t forget the new jam #SidePieces. The point is, Drake is doing much more than hosting an award show; he’s putting on a full blown performance.
If you missed out on the monologue, we got you covered on the next page. Let us know what you thought of it in the comments below.
