Over the weekend, MMG leader Rick Ross released a statement to MTV about Meek Mill‘s jail sentence. While speaking in support of the Philly native, Rozay also stated the schedule for the upcoming release of the Dreams Worth More Than Money album will continue as planned.

“Every individual signed to MMG is not just an artist, they are my family. And with family you ride, or you die,” Ross stated. “Yesterday, my brother, Meek Mill ran into some unfortunate legal issues. It happens. However, his team, our team, will continue to execute Meek’s plan as close to schedule as possible.”

Late last week Meek Mill was ordered to return to jail due to a parole violation. The MMG rapper was believed to be sentences to jail for three to six months, an updated report states that it will only be three to four weeks. Check out the next page to read the full statement from Rick Ross.
