Big Boi & Sleepy Brown

Back in 2003, Big Boi and Andre 3000 had just dropped their double-disc LP, Speakerboxx/The Love Below, so seeing Big Boi performing “The Rooster” alongside Sleepy Brown fills me with nostalgia. You also get a shot of Dave Chappelle off to the side of the stage standing next to a pimped out Charlie Murphy and a jheri-curled Donnell Rawlings dressed for a “The Time Haters” sketch, which they probably filmed that day. Maybe they were trying to match Big Boi’s pimp levels?
