Beyonce Returns to HBO with New Miniseries
by Staff Editor
The B in HBO should stand for Beyonce after the cable movie network announced a miniseries titled BeyonceX10 on Thursday (June 19). The series will have 10 episodes featuring concert performances from Queen Bey, each four minutes in length.
Time reports the miniseries will highlight the recently ended The Mrs. Carter Show Would Tour and will air just before each episode of HBO’s hit show True Blood. For those who will check out Mrs. Carter four minute takeover, you will catch performances of many of her hits including, but not limited to “Drunk in Love,” “Partition” and “Why Don’t You Love Me?”
The new series won’t mark the first time Beyonce has been a music feature on HBO, the “XO” singer released her Life Is But A Dream documentary on the network, which grabbed the eyes of 18 million viewers on it’s opening night.
