LL Cool J was on the receiving end of an epic day as he was given an Honorary PHD at the 2014 Commencement of Northeastern University, but to make it more of a joyous celebration the hip-hop legend was honored at the same graduation for his daughter.

According to CBS Boston, LL can throw “Doctor” in front of his name as a Northeastern awarded him an Doctor of Arts degree.
