Lil Boosie Released From Angola State Penitentiary in Louisiana

The state of Louisiana will get one of its native sons back as Lil Boosie has been released from Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola Wednesday night (March 5). Burl Cain, warden of the Angola facility, confirmed that the “Wipe Me Down” rapper has been transferred to a sheriff department facility in St. Francisville in which he met his family.
Boosie was placed in prison in 2009 for drug charges and faced a murder trial back in 2012, in which he was found not guilty. Lil Boosie, whose government name is Torrence Hatch, was released at 7:10 p.m. and will attend a news conference this coming Monday in New Orleans.
