That’s awesome, man. The video in particular really stood out to me. Can you explain the concept for the viewers real quick?

Oktane: For those who haven’t seen the legendary movie “Friday,” that’s exactly where this is from. We shot that video on tour when we were in Chicago. Everyone thought that was in California, but it was in Chicago.

Oktane to Price: What time did we get up to shoot that shit?

Oktane: We got up around 7-something in the morning and shot all the way till like 4 in the daytime, performed the show that night and went right back to the studio afterwards. So yea, that was probably my most tired day of 2013 – easy.

So do you guys have a plan for an official remix, and if so who would you want to get on there?

Price: Man, it’s crazy that you say that because when we played the song on the bus, there was someone who wanted to do a remix, so we’re definitely gonna look to do a crazy remix. But not until it’s time, you know? We want to let this song go as far as it can go first. As far as who? Not sure yet. We’re not gonna do no monster remix or anything; it’ll probably just be 1 or 2 cool people or whatever.  We’ll figure it out. We might just do an HS87 remix with all the homies for real.

Either way, fans are looking forward to that. So obviously you guys are working on the debut album – is there a timetable for that?

Price: We’re literally in the studio right now working on the album. We’re actually about to put out another project with the team, and that’s all I’ma say. Be on the lookout for that. We just dropped the video for “Turn Down,” so y’all gotta go check that out.

Any artist or producer you guys are really looking to work with? Even if it’s a dream collaboration.

Price: We did a song with Wayne, so that was dope. I’d love to do a song with fun. We of course would like to do a song with Outkast, and I really like the Lorde chick, man. She’s just crazy.

One final question: When people hear the name Audio Push, what do you hope comes to mind?

Oktane: Great music! I’ve never heard any of these young cats say that they want to make music to win a Grammy. People just want to make hot songs real quick then that’s it. They wanna go to the club and that’s it. We really wanna make music that’s gonna last a lifetime for real. So yea, that’s what I want people to know about Audio Push, that we’re really doing this to last forever.

Price: And you know, when people think Audio Push, I want them to think of “never giving up”

Oktane: Exactly!

Price: We’re really show and prove of getting to it and staying with it. You can’t let nothing hold you back, period.
