So that kind of brings it back full circle to From Roaches to Rollies. Explain that feeling of coming from the hood and being able to go tour in Europe.
When I say roaches, I mean ignorant shit. All I knew was violence. All I knew was ignorant shit. Like, I never knew it was stupid because that’s all I knew. That’s why I was so stern with what the fuck I would do, like, ‘Fuck voting nigga. I don’t’ fuck with that.’ That’s how I was raised. Drugs put food on our table, that’s what kept our lights on, that’s what kept shoes on our feet, so how was that wrong? My father didn’t sit at the dinner table telling my mother how work was. But when I learned how to see right from wrong and wrong from right, I got mine. Now I know the facts instead of taking it out of another person’s mouth. I really been through the trenches, I really been through these experiences, I really paid my way to be here. You follow me? I ain’t never get no help. I ain’t never in my life get no help, musically.

What do you want people to get from Roaches to Rollies?
That Waka Flocka back. I been on tour for a whole year eating money up, perfecting my craft, changing my delivery up. I learned that this game ain’t got no limit to where you can go. I literally been to places that I know money couldn’t buy, but music got me there. Like sitting with Arabs with the one-piece suits on with their hair wrapped up. I was around niggas worth a couple billion. His kid was born with a hundred million dollars. The license plates on everybody cars are gold, the ATM is gold. Shit like that.

Fast forward a little bit. What do you want for yourself in 2014?
I want to be financially stable, mentally stable, physically stable and comfortable completely.

Married to your girl?
2015. I’ll say by 2015.

And Flockaveli 2?
I’m going right into it about another month and a half. Straight hip-hop.
