Is Jhene Aiko Replacing Future on Drake’s ‘Would You Like A Tour’?

Drake’s “Would You Like A Tour?” is down one opening act.
According to Page Six, Drizzy has given Future the boot after some suspect comments were made about his latest album, Nothing Was The Same, in an interview with Billboard. “Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you,” he said of the LP. “They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do.”
This isn’t the first time Future has spoken semi-ill of the Toronto kid. Back in 2012, Future and Drake were on bad terms after Drake failed to show up for the shoot of Future’s “Tony Montana” video. Although the two have since attempted to work things out, Future has ultimately pulled out of the upcoming tour and is reportedly seeking to sue Drake for $1.5 million in lost wages.
But a loss for Future is a win for LA-based songbird Jhene Aiko. According to her manager’s Instagram, the Sail Out singer will replace Future on the tour run.
Let’s just hope all this change doesn’t end in a bottle toss. Peep what could be Jhene’s tour announcement after the jump. –Alley Olivier
