On Monday, Azealia Banks dropped a new song. A few hours later, she also dropped an insult directed at Lady Gaga. Just guess which one got more press.

Banks’ latest attack on Gaga seems to have been inspired by a fake ARTPOP tracklist posted to Instagram in which Rihanna appears as a feature on a song called “Red Flame.”

(Instagram)”Red Flame” just happens to be the name of a demo that Azealia had created for a potential collaboration with Gaga. Naturally, she got pissed. But she probably should have paused to consider the post’s authenticity first.

“@ladygaga make sure u let them know where u got the title for red flame from. U stole that from the demo I sent u,” Banks tweeted. “Life is great. You can have it. Plenty more where that came from. Seriously. . . This one is free. Next time I’m charging.”
